Soil Laboratory Data

This file contains soil sample locations and corresponding laboratory data for samples completed by the soil characterization laboratory at the University of Illinois and NRCS National Soil Survey Lab. The data format is shapefile and consists of two data sets, one for each respective lab. Data from the National Soil Survey Lab are in geographic coordinates. Download the data from the NSSL (36MB).  Download the data from the University of Illinois (0.8MB) which has the following projection: (There are several obvious errors in the location of some University of Illinois samples, which will be fixed as time permits):
