ACTION: NOTICE
Illinois State Component Conservation Innovation Grants Fiscal Year (FY) 2009 Announcement for Program Funding (APF)

Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) Number: 10.912

SUMMARY: Illinois NRCS requests applications for Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) to stimulate the development and adoption of innovative conservation approaches and technologies. Applications are accepted from all 50 States, the Caribbean Area (Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands), and the Pacific Islands Area (Guam, American Samoa, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands).

This notice identifies the objectives for Illinois State level CIG projects, the eligibility criteria for projects, and provides the associated instructions needed to apply for CIG.

APPLICATION DUE DATE AND ADDRESS: Applications must be received in the NRCS Illinois State office by 5 p.m. Central Daylight Time (CDT), on May 1, 2009. Send to the attention of Ivan Dozier, ASTC-Programs.
